Michelangelo and the Ideal Body

Exploring the body-focused art from the core of the great master Michelangelo, this exhibition features more than 70 pieces from the Renaissance and ancient times.  Michelangelo Buonarroti is well known for his incredible works such as the Sistine Chapel ceiling and the Last Judgement fresco. In addition to exhibition highlights, like seeing the reunion of Michelangelo’s David Apollo and Young Saint John the Baptist sculptures, you can discover how artists explored and recorded natural human form throughout the ages, in search of capturing the “ideal body.”
