Loko Gallery – Drawings

Art

A line is an infinite collection of points, like stars forming a celestial body. You can also liken the communities and social structures in our lives to lines, as we forge new relationships, connect the dots and draw new branching lines. Whether our lines are metaphorical or literal, we can only tell what shape they are after we are done drawing them, and after we step away to look.

To examine the fascinating nature of lines, Loko Gallery has assembled the works of 16 artists for a new drawing exhibition. From Masahiro Wada (who has worked primarily in mixed media and video) to luminous landscape artist Chie Koda, these artists draw our trajectory for the future.
