Lois Cremmins: New York City Street and Leaf

Art

When artist and horticulturist Lois Cremmins moved back to Manhattan she began to receive seed and plant catalogs in her mailbox. With no garden to grow plants, she came up with an idea to transform the catalogs into art. She began cutting and pasting and layering collaged items with paint and ink, and so created her “New York City Street and Leaf” series.

Opening reception: September 21, 14:00–18:00

Following the B-Gallery exhibition, Cremmins will exhibit her work at Creative Space Hayashi in Chigasaki from October 2–6 & 11–13.
