Lives Tokyo 2017
Working every day, eating every day, and laughing everyday should be a part of our daily lives. However, Japan continues to be a difficult environment for those with disabilities to join the workforce and be a part of society. This event’s purpose is to raise awareness and discuss issues concerning people with mental, intellectual and physical disabilities in a fun and inviting environment. There will be panel discussions, performances, Paralympic basketball and rugby experiences, workshops, food, and much more! Organized by Japan’s leading bilingual volunteer organization, Hands On Tokyo, this event is planned and executed by a diverse team of people with various disabilities and talents. Join them to be a part of the movement towards a stronger barrier-free society.
