Koutaro Inoue Exhibition: “Vision”

Admire the mysterious art of Koutaro Inoue at his second solo exhibition, which will showcase some of his newest pieces. Inoue began exhibiting his work in Tokyo in 2007, two years after graduating from university. He notably appeared in the Sompo Japan Art Award Exhibition FACE 2014 and in the Shell Art Award Exhibition in 2017. He is known for portraying uneasy atmospheres in his paintings – like a lonely mountain range or a ghost-like house – including scenes that one might imagine have been copied from grainy old VHS tapes.
