Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo – Noh Performance and Special Luncheon

As part of a June “Noh” exhibition in collaboration with The National Noh Theatre, a special performance and luncheon package will be available for one day only. Following an introductory lecture, Yoshimasa Kanze of the Kanze School of Noh and others will perform the play Aoi No Ue in the hotel’s luxurious 5F Concorde Ball Room, after which guests will be able to enjoy a specially prepared lunch of Japanese, Chinese, or French & Italian cuisine at three of the hotel’s fine restaurants. The play’s story tackles the mixed emotions of love and jealousy of a woman who falls in love with a married man, centered around the mistress of the popular Heian novel protagonist, Hikaru Genji.
