Kabuki and Mount Fuji Art Exhibition
To celebrate the New Year, Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo will host a special exhibition titled “Vivid Performing Art of Kabuki.” Eight gorgeous costumes typically appearing in kabuki, a traditional form of classical Japanese dance-drama, will be put on display, including the intricate and vibrant agemaki. You can also enjoy the live Japanese classical music and dance performance in the lobby for free.
Finally, the hotel will simultaneously host the “Mt. Fuji Art Exhibition,” where you can admire 37 paintings of Mt. Fuji by acclaimed artists such as Kaii Higashiyama.
If you’re looking to witness a mixture of Japanese arts, this is the perfect event that harmoniously bring together two art forms in one place.
Check the official website for the performances’ schedule.
