In 2018, Jarman International, a company that specializes in inbound tourism, hosted its first Charity Golf Cup. The event was organized in collaboration with the EastWood Country Club in Tochigi Prefecture. Any proceeds are donated to NPO Mirai no Mori, an organization that aims to provide abused, neglected and orphaned children of Japan with a new chance at living a healthy life.
This month, the in-person gathering will take place on February 19, though anybody that plays an 18-hole course at EastWood Country Club can also participate so long as they submit their scorecards by the 28. All participants in the charity cup have the chance to win a ¥100,000 prize and a trophy.
