HaRe Gastronomia Christmas Dinner
While not exactly your traditional festival feast, Hare Gastronomia’s Christmas Dinner menu is certainly something special. Running from December 20-25, it’s an innovative and exquisitely presented 10-course meal with an array of sumptuous dishes. One of the highlights on the menu is the assortment of appetizers featuring squid, oysters and smoked mackerel sushi. Served alongside a huge red flower, it looks more like a vibrant piece of art than a plate of food. Other standout dishes include the pasta with crab, dried mullet roe and caviar, and the melt-in-your-mouth Matsuzaka beef with couscous and a sake sauce. Chef Naokazu Takayama has also chosen a selection of sake bottles that pair well with the cuisine.
