Hajime Sorayama: Sex Matter and Trex Art Exhibition

Art, Pop Culture

Hajime Sorayama, known for his illustrations of erotic feminine robots, is opening his “Sex Matter” and “Trex” art exhibitions at the Nanzuka gallery and Shibuya Parco.

In the “Sex Matter” exhibition at Nanzuka gallery, Sorayama attempts to create robot artworks based on sex. Sorayama’s art pieces focus on the notion that the existence of man and woman creates life, and visitors can interpret future dystopian themes of body modification, post-humanity and AI.

In the “Trex” exhibition at Shibuya Parco, Sorayama presents sculptures made out of cast material and paintings of robot dinosaurs.
