Gone is the pre-pandemic pastime of sliding in and out of shirts in a frenzy haul. Now, virtual try-on session is the perfect way to shop — it’s convenient, precise and, above all, safe. Radwimps’ upcoming virtual performance Shin Sekai fuses the rock band’s sublime music with state-of-the-art technology, but they’re also bringing this new concept to Tokyo, too. Bridging the virtual world and reality, a pop-up collaboration between the newly developed virtual fitting system Fullgraph and Radwimp’s Shin Sekai “Nowhere” will be open for a limited time. With a patent-pending VR technology, it’s a new type of shopping experience where shoppers can try on clothing items without physically touching them. The life-sized monitor display allows you to style models of yourselves and customize your avatar. Products will then be shipped at a later date.
