Children’s World Depicted in Ukiyo-e of the Meiji Period

Enjoy traditional Japanese ukiyo-e paintings of children playing and learning amid the new wave of Westernization, as well as during the vestiges of the Edo period. Roughly 300 pieces will be displayed. In addition, the exhibition will showcase ukiyo-e for children. See the colorful visual world of children of the Meiji period.
