The Body: Challenging the Mystery
Humankind’s endless curiosity about the bodies they inhabit transcends disciplines, ranging from the musing of artists to the detailed work of generations of scientists, and efforts to unravel the enigmas of the human body and how to improve our lives have challenged some of the best minds of the centuries. This exhibit delves into the structure and function of the human body as it has been studied over the centuries, going as far back as the Renaissance. From these early investigations, the exhibit moves into cutting edge research into what makes us human.
