Damah International Film Festival is a short film festival that pursues the power of story. With its roots in Seattle, Washington, Damah collects movies from all genres and walks of life. Their only requirement for submission is a 30-minute or under runtime. Not only will creative shorts be shown, but there will also be a chance to participate in thought-provoking panel discussions, workshops, Q & As and other events that foster a sense of community. “Damah” in Hebrew means “metaphor” or “parable.” And so it’s suitable that they look for stories that are inspirational and heartwarming.
