This exhibition is by fashion designer and graduate student at Bunka Gakuen’s Graduate University’s Global Fashion Stefan Kitanovikj. It is based on his apprenticeship of the 1300 years old indigenous mud-dyeing technique in Amami Oshima called dorozome.

On the day of the opening, January 11 from 5pm to 8pm, the fashion collection will be showcased in an installation format, accompanied by a model wearing some of the garments. Additionally, installations and video media featuring the dyeing process will be displayed, alongside photographs from the collection.
