Every month, Nerd Nite gathers smart speakers and a curious crowd, then to it a bar and some mingling. This month, the speakers are a filmmaker and a cutting-edge brain scientist. Darryl Wharton-Rigby will give a presentation titled “Guerrilla Filmmaking in Tokyo: Seeking Forgiveness, Not Permission” while Masataka Watanabe’s is titled “Mind Uploading in 20 Years through Consciousness Research.” There will be plenty of time for Q&A, socializing, and catching your train home.

Drinks (both alcoholic and non) and light snacks will be available. Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite.

For those who want to join online, livestream tickets are required and purchasable here. ¥1,000 suggested, but a free option is also available.
