Australian musical prodigy Jake Murdoch, simply known as Jake, is touring Japan this May to highlight his unique approach to being a singer/songwriter. Even though he is just entering adolescence, Jake can play 16 instruments, and he utilizes them all to create his own original songs, which range from lovelorn blues numbers to folk songs incorporating native elements of Australian music to talk about trending issues. Jake’s musical prowess has brought him attention from publications and TV stations across his home country.
Jake is a fan of Japanese artists like Kenshi Yonezu and Ryuichi Kawamura (Luna Sea). His first tour of Japan features a handful of shows in the capital, where he will showcase his talents while also helping connect his Australian culture with Japan-based listeners.
