Feel Japan is a hands-on cultural event that brings the charm and traditions of Japan’s diverse prefectures to the heart of Tokyo. Each session offers a unique opportunity to discover regional crafts, tastes and innovations through immersive presentations and interactive experiences.

This summer, Feel Japan spotlights Tara town in Saga Prefecture — famous for its mystical floating torii gates and for its deep connection to the moon due to its dramatic tidal range. Dive into the area’s culture with a citrus workshop hosted by Tajima Citrus Farm, where guests can hand-press mikan juice, sample aromatic citrus blends and explore essential oils from the region.

Other event highlights include:

  • A session with Not A Hotel, a brand redefining vacation homes with a network of architecturally exceptional properties in stunning locations across Japan.
  • A behind-the-scenes look at Omotenashi Selection’s award-winning lineup, featuring premium Japanese products like Canon’s sleek albos Light & Speaker.
  • To mark Tokyo Weekender’s upcoming Made in Japan special issue, the magazine’s editorial director will also share insider stories and editorial highlights.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or curious explorer, Feel Japan offers a taste of the country’s rich regional beauty — no shinkansen ticket required.

All attendees will also receive a complimentary gift bag.
Admission is free, but advance registration via Peatix is required.

Feel Japan will be split into two sessions on June 21, with the first one starting at 13:30 (doors open at 13:00) and the second one starting at 16:00 (doors open at 15:30).
