Artist Naoya Inose at his exhibition “Romantic Depression” at THE CLUB at Ginza Six with the Managing Director Yukako Yamashita. “I believe that art has the power to heal the human mind and bring together people from different countries, backgrounds and generations. Let’s use our art and creativity to think of new ways of coming together and staying strong.”

Film and TV producer Daniel L. Smith, producer Eriko Jones and TV talent and musician Benjamin Skepper after their meeting at Smith’s Aurora Borealis Entertainment office in Roppongi. Daniel L. Smith: “It is difficult to meet safely during the Covid-19 pandemic, but we are managing cautiously.” Smith says the anticipated launch of the company’s new “Backstage Pass” celebrity oriented TV program is slated for August 1, 2020.

We are hopeful that this difficult period for all of us is soon over and we look forward to welcoming our clients.”

The Irish Ambassador Paul Kavanagh and wife Rosemary on the terrace at the ambassador’s residence. Staying at home has meant much more time to catch up on reading, keeping in contact with their sons and relatives, and taking long walks (all while practicing social distancing). The embassy has been ramping up cultural events and seminars through streaming sites.

Arn Moorcroft: “Our approach with the reopening of the Arbor restaurant is to fully focus on safety, sanitation and social distancing which we consider extremely important to ensure that high level of hygiene measures are met. We are very blessed having a large open space to make everyone feel comfortable and safe. We look forward to seeing and serving you all soon.”

Smith: “It seems every day more information is coming out about the possibility that the coronavirus might have been in Wuhan as far back as September and that thousands of military athletes participating in the Military World Games may have unknowingly been infected. Nearly 10,000 athletes, from 110 countries, participating in these games from October 16 to 27.”
