The cult fashion store Beams T shirt gallery, opened a special exhibition with the theme, “Sport is Art”  in the back streets of fashionable neighborhood Harajuku, the Japanese clothing store launched a limted edition collaboration with sportswear giants Nike this week.

The whole store has been decked out as a locker room, customers can browse T shirts on the wall gallery before selecting the corresponding number, size and color. Staff then wrap the selected shirt in a special Nike shoebox for take out.

The gallery opened on Friday the 19th, but Weekender learned that most stock had gone by the following Saturday afternoon!

Don’t worry brand addicts a new batch is due in soon, but Weekender recommends you get there sharpish as Tokyo-ites know a bargain and there is nothing that Japanese consumers appreciate more than the words ‘limited edition’.
