Nikusushi, the restaurant that uses a variety of meats as sushi toppings, has opened its latest branch in Ueno, following success in Ebisu, Kansai, Tohoku and more since first opening in 2010.

Traditional sushi is, of course, topped with raw fish and other seafood. But at Nikusushi, it’s topped with beef, pork, chicken, duck, and even horse meat and canard. Drinks are as varied as the meat, and in celebration of the opening, glasses of beer and whiskey and soda are offered for the special price of 190 yen.
