Yummy Sake Collective, created by firm Mirai Sake, opens in Daikanyama January 2019. The next-generation bar uses artificial intelligence to choose the perfect sake for its visitors.

The bar’s philosophy is “taste first, label second,” meaning that you can casually enjoy a glass of sake without advanced knowledge about brands or rice milling.

First-time visitors simply enter their preferences into a smartphone app and Yummy Sake Collective’s AI does the rest, presenting them with a sake that fits their tastes.

Mirai Sake also runs two sake shops in Daikanyama and Kichijoji. Their carefully-selected sake is based not just on brand recognition and ingredients, but the concept and stories behind the drinks. The shops are perfect for those who are unfamiliar with sake.

Yummy Sake Collective opens January 16, 2019. It is open from 5pm to 11pm on weekdays and 1pm to 11pm on weekends and holidays.
