To the Staff at Crayon House

In the August 2014 issue of Tokyo Weekender we ran a story about the poet Shuntaro Tanikawa.

Due to a miscommunication, we committed three errors during the preparation of this piece:

1. We published 3 photos by the photographer, Ms. Miyazu, without notifying her, through Crayon House, that we would be using the pictures.
2. We published 3 of Miyazu’s photos without crediting her name.
3. We horizontally flipped one of the photos of Mr. Tanikawa.

We meant no harm to Miyazu, Crayon House, or Mr. Tanikawa. We apologize for the errors.
