From between free open-air concerts, iconic crooners, big bands, quartets and soloists, everyone can find their beat at Tokyo Jazz Festival 2013.

Still going strong at 86, this year’s headliner is none other than Tony Bennett. The Italian-American singer has accumulated his fair share of Grammy’s and Emmy’s, and doesn’t look like he’ll be retiring anytime soon…

Legendary saxophonist Lee Konitz, also nearly the same age, will be treating audiences with some cool jazz notes. According to your timetable or budget for that weekend, you can also catch other acts such as Chick Corea, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, Eric Legnini, James Genus, Bobby McFerrin, Elephant 9, and Ai Kuwabara. A range of intimate venues, concert halls and an open-air plaza will play host to this eclectic lineup of must-see artists
