Japanese camera maker Ricoh has announced the opening of Alejandro Chaskielberg’s exhibition “High Tide” on Wednesday, January 18, at the Ricoh Photo Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo.

This event will be the first solo exhibition by Mr. Chaskielberg in Japan, and is a byproduct of collaboration between Ring Cuba and the world-famous London gallery Michael Hoppen Contemporary.

The photographs in “High Tide” were taken around the delta region of rio Parana in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Works in the exhibition include highly innovative techniques such as long exposure under the full moon or artificial light with a model standing still for up to ten minutes.

The beautifully made photographs highlight the lifestyles of the people living at the waterside and will be sure to provide a new and exciting experience for all attendees. The exhibition includes 28 works.
