Three Musketeers and Jackie Chan’s historic epic “1911,” have been selected as the special opening movies at this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival. This is the first time since the 10th TIFF in 1997, that two films have been selected as opening films. “When a major disaster strikes, heroes arise who are willing to sacrifice themselves.” Jackie Chan said “So I hope I will never know any heroes. At this time, as Japan faces the aftermath of disaster, I truly hope my film can be of help to the people of Japan.”

Jackie Chan will be in Tokyo for the official opening (October 22-30), TIFF is held at Roppongi Hills and other Tokyo venues.
