For those not going to Fat Boy Slim’s Big Beach festival this Saturday or those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, why not head to the mountains for a weekend of camping, drinking and international DJ’s!

Taico Club is an alternative music festival that is headed straight for the mainstream. According to organizers, “TAICOCLUB is a festival of art, music and joy organized to create and communicate the diversity of world festivals, and for the promotion of social projects.” What that means in real terms: A raft of DJ’s and performers include Simian Mobile Disco, Alex Smoke, Dam-Funk, Daniel Bell. (And many more!)

Unlike other huge festivals, camping area’s are free of charge. Rumors are that bus tickets to the site are sold out, but you still take the train from Tokyo, (see details below). Be pre-warned – this event looks set to be a smash hit, so entry tickets may go fast.
