The colorful Design Festa Gallery in Harajuku is well known to tourists and Tokyoites alike, but the art space couldn’t contain the creativity of it’s inhabitants. The gallery’s organizers scaled up the event for the 31st biannual show in the vast halls of Tokyo Big Sight on Odaiba.
The two day event gave hundreds of creators, artists, designers and performers a chance to express their work in public. What started in 1994 with humble beginnings welcomed contributors from 70 countries this year in Japan.

Tokyo is Asia’s creative hub, so naturally Design Festa would attract some interesting young talent
