Karen Lee Orzolek, better known as Karen O and the front woman of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, brings the trio to Japan for one show in Tokyo and one in Osaka. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs bursted on to the scene in 2003 with their album Fever to Tell. The single Maps became an instant classic in the indie and punk scene, with its obscure and melodic sound. Since then Karen O has been on the cover of Nylon and Spin magazines, and is noted for her edgy sense of fashion and sexy, punk vocals. With three wildly successful albums under their belt, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs come to Tokyo to rock the latest from their new album It’s Blitz, released earlier this year.
