Anyone who was around in 1985 will probably remember the catchy synthpop anthem Take on Me by Norwegian band A-Ha, as well as its groundbreaking music video in which members of the band appear to be pencil-sketched. Although the band never achieved the same success as they did with their debut album Hunting High and Low, they continued to record and tour for over two decades. This June the band released its ninth and final studio album, entitled Foot of the Mountain. Last month they  announced that they would be breaking up in 2010 after a worldwide farewell tour. It is not known whether Japan will be included in this tour, so their 2009 visit (their first in nine years) may be their last. A-Ha’s final album was released in Japan on November 9.
