Gallows are an English Punk/Hardcore punk band from Watford. Their debut album is titled ‘Orchestra of Wolves’. They are heavily supported by Kerrang and have headlined Klub Kerrang, and have also received strong support across the British press from magazines such as Rock Sound and NME.
Gallows have supported Bullet for My Valentine. The band is currently scheduled to play on the 2007 Warped Tour in the United States, and the Download Festival at Donington in 2007. They appeard at 2007’s South by Southwest showcase festival in Austin, Texas.
Most Gallows songs are about life in modern Britain, however some songs are based on other topics, such as the song ‘I Promise This Won’t Hurt’ which is based on singer Frank Carter’s frequent trips to the dentist.
The band recently signed a £1 million four album deal with Warner Bros
