Metric

Canadian indie darlings Metric will play at Club Quattro to promote their latest album Fantasies, released earlier this year. Fantasies was the highly anticipated follow-up to Live it Out (2005), and squashed rumors that the band was breaking up after front woman Emily Haines recorded her solo album Knives Don’t Have Your Back (2006). Metric will be on their way back from down-under and returning to their native Canada when they play their only Japan date for 2009. Despite her petite frame, Haines commands the stage with her girlish yet haunting voice, and isn’t afraid to rock out.
