Kondo was born in Fukuoka in 1981. He started studying photography in 2007 while still a nihonga major in the painting department at Tokyo University of the Arts, and currently continues to live and work in Tokyo. His major exhibitions include “Tokyo-ga: Small Everyday Landscapes” held at Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya in 2007, “Project N” held at Tokyo Opera City in 2008, and “Re:Membering – Next of Japan” held this year at Gallery Loop in Korea. Kondo also held a solo exhibition entitled “Good Map” at Countach in 2008.
