Like nowhere else in Tokyo, Azabu Juban is a one-of-a-kind neighborhood where the international community adds to the charm of the local area. The city office’s most recent estimation confirms that ten percent of its residents are foreign. It is here that walking down the street on any given day, you can experience interchanging sights, sounds, and smells from Japan to Europe to America and then back again!

It is fantastic to be able to find shops not often spotted in other areas of the city, such as LA original American Apparel, with uniquely minimalist clothing and distinctive store design.

My recommendation for casual lunch dining in Azabu Juban is the child-friendly Windsor Cafe, for back-to-basics toasted sandwiches, pasta, and pizza. For dinner, my top choice is French bistro Le Petit Tonneau, for their truly authentic food and must-try wine list.
