It is a great opportunity for your children to learn Japanese whilst living in Japan. Japanese language classes are incorporated into the curriculum and offered daily. Children are introduced to Japanese culture, cooking, songs, words and expressions. Through these activities, children are able to learn Japanese language very naturally.

Starting from the 4-5 year old class, the Japanese language program is offered as a Japanese Foreign Language (JFL) class or a Japanese Native Language (JNL) class. Students in the JNL class will have native level spoken Japanese and the curriculum focuses on reading and writing. From the 1st Grade/Year 2 class, the Japanese National curriculum and textbook for language (国語) is used for instruction in the JNL class.
