St. Michael’s International School was established in 1946 and has been delivering a quality, primary education for children aged three to eleven, to the international community ever since. St. Michael’s International School provides a distinctive British style primary education within a positive culture of academic excellence and a caring family community. The school focuses solely on children aged three to eleven and maintain a strong connection to the Anglican Church.
English and Mathematics are regarded as core subjects and receive the largest time allocation on the timetable. St. Michael’s International School also use the “International Primary Curriculum” (IPC) topics and themes to deliver the National Curriculum for England and Wales in Science, History, Geography, Design Technology and Art, supported by a strong values based curriculum. P.E. , Music, ICT, Japanese language and culture are taught as discrete subjects by specialist teachers
The school uses specialist teachers for French, music, art, physical education, religious education and ICT to ensure that the best education is being offered to the children. A library, computer room, art room and gymnasium are available.
There is an English language school on the site, catering for local adults and children learning English, either during the day or evening.
