When: 07/11/14 - 09/11/14: All Day
Where: Okubo Park, 2-43 Kabukicho
If you can’t seem to get your fill of kebab (and frankly, we understand: we feel the same way) and you can’t remember the last time you puffed away at a water pipe, this is the festival for you. Some of the festivities on tap for the weekend party include regional beer and wine, a traditional Turkish crafts market, sheesha (water pipe) booths, belly dance performances, and a kebab contest (where can we sign up for a judge’s position?). On Saturday, if you’re interested in seeing whether Cupid speaks Turkish, you can try your hand at the Kebab-kon dating event.
Turkish Festival 2014
How much: Free, Kebab kon: ¥5,000 for men, ¥3,000 for women (all-you-can-drink, plus food)
