Tokyo Ramen Show 2015

When: 23/10/15 - 03/11/15: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

Where: Komazawa Olympic Park , 1-1 Komazawakoen

Running every year since 2009, Tokyo Ramen Show is easily one of the biggest and best outdoor events centered around the delicious traditional noodle dish.

This is the time of the year when you can sample all kinds of noodles from all over Japan, at one single venue.  There are almost as many regional kinds of ramen as there are prefectures, although these can pretty much be categorized into mainly four kinds of ramen, split by soup flavours: shioramen (salt flavored soup), shoyu ramen (soy sauce flavored soup), tonkotsu ramen (pork bone based creamy soup) and miso ramen (miso flavored soup). Common ramen toppings are negi, shinachiku (seasoned bamboo shoots), nori (dried seaweed) and boiled egg, but really there are no ‘rules’.

Whether you’re already a ramen connoisseur or are just learning about the noodle, the Tokyo Ramen Show will definitely offer something to please your taste buds.

Serving over 40 different styles of ramen inspired by regions from all over Japan, this is a one-stop shop for even the most hardcore ramen enthusiasts. You can even try specialty collaborative bowls that are not served anywhere else in Japan!

Tokyo Ramen Show is not only a chance to slurp on some of the good stuff, but for vendors to showcase their region’s local produce and ingredients.
