Back for its second year, Tokyo Harvest is described as an event meant to “express respect and gratitude for farmers and fishers.” Food producers from around the country will be selling tasty and healthy food at the event, which drew 30,000 people last year. Along with the various food products from around Japan’s 47 prefectures, there will be activities that the whole family can join in on: picking lotus roots in a special harvest area, cooking stations, music performances, and a mochi (rice cake) making demonstration.
