When: 11/12/15 - 25/12/15: 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Where: Hibiya Park, 1 Hibiyakoen
Hibiya Park joins the countdown to the holiday with their own Christmas Market this year, running two weeks prior to the big day. Set up to be one of the biggest markets in Tokyo this season, there is a lot more than mulled wine waiting for curious goers: a stage featuring local and foreign artists and orchestras, performing jazz numbers, carols, and pop takes on traditional Christmas tunes, a workshop where you can make candles, wreaths, and ornaments, plenty of food booths sporting German and Japanese-German dishes (smoked duck!), and more than enough shopping options. The location itself, one of the larger parks in the downtown area, with the illumination and large fountain, are sure to make it one of the more picturesque Christmas markets in Tokyo.
Thankfully, it’s open quite late, so even the average, overworked salaryman will be able to catch it one evening.
