Tokyo English Life Line (TELL for short) has been holding a Charity Walk & Run event in support of anti-bullying efforts for the past 15 years. For their 16th year, TELL has chosen a new location for their event: a course along the scenic Tama River (Tamagawa).
The TELL “Anti-Bullying” Charity Walk & Run comprises a 10-kilometer run, 5-kilometer run, and 5-kilometer walk, with prizes awarded to the fastest finishers in the 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer runs. There will also be a children’s 5-kilometer division, with prizes from Toys R Us awarded to the top three girls and top three boys. In addition, the first 600 participants to check in on race morning will receive a TELL “Anti-Bullying” Charity Walk & Run t-shirt, provided by Gildan, and entertainer Guy Totaro will be on hand all morning to entertain runners and spectators young and old!
English language registration ends on May 20. For more information, visit TELL’s site for the event.
