For the entire month of April, 40 ramen masters are gathering in Machida’s Shibahiro Park, serving up specialty bowls of warmth and soulful goodness. If you’ve ever wanted to compare the taste between regional ramen types, this is a good place to travel to all prefectures without all of the cross-country travel involved. Drag all of your friend or the whole family out to West Tokyo for a day in the park with a hot bowl of ramen and some last minute sakura gazing.
On select days, there is also a chance to try your own hand at making ramen! Geared more for kids, but anyone can roll up their sleeves and get their hands greasy to serve themselves up a bowl.
