If there are two things that Japanese children love, they are trains and cuteness, so it’s little wonder that Thomas the Tank Engine and his colorful friends have enjoyed great popularity here. This exhibition on the cheerful blue engine focuses on original illustrations from the picture book series whose history stretches back to 1945. Featuring dioramas, film props, video screenings, and interactive exhibits it offers great insight into the world of the timeless train for fans old and young.
