Operating System (OS) is a relatively new entry into most people’s daily lexicon and yet it has quickly become an indelible part of modern life. “OS-XX – Prelude to the operating systems of the future city” takes the idea of the contemporary urban city as an Operating System in order to understand global future development of such metropolises. Exhibitions from artists Yuken Teruya, Pedro Inoue (Brazil) and Jean-François Prost (Canada) examine these ideas in terms of art, culture, media and design. Koki Tanaka, Yusuke Obuchi Lab, SCI-Arc John Bohn (USA) take over for Part 2.
Part 1 of this exhibition runs August 8–September 23. Part 2 runs October 3–November 8.
