The frontman of lo-fi band Half Japanese, Jad Fair, returns to Tokyo for his third exhibition at the off-beat and unique Hiromart Gallery. When he’s not busy collaborating with the likes of Steve Shelley and Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth, Moe Tucker, Teenage Fanclub or Yo La Tengo, Fair spends time creating complex paper cuttings and drawing pieces that have been displayed in galleries all over the world. Besides his paper cuttings, the show will also includes Jad Fair’s drawings. All works are especially made for this show, and his songs and voice messages will be played during the exhibit.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and appointments can be made outside opening hours.
