When: 17/04/16: 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Where: Sound Museum Vision, 2-10-7 Dogenzaka
As much as we wish we could sail around the Caribbean, happily sampling rums and basking on a sunny boat deck, we will have to settle for the next best: the Japan Rum Connection. The annual showcase of Latin America and Caribbean rums is back, and bringing a storm of brands and a tidal wave of flavors in tow. A list of nearly a hundred restaurants, rum distilleries, and private companies are anchoring at the event, so set the sails and steer towards Shibuya for a glass … or a few.
DJs bringing sounds of warmer, sandier places will be setting the vibe, and smells of grilling ethnic foods will be wafting around the hall. If you’ve been looking for a laid-back place, this is a viable bet for the weekend. Bring along the black-and-skull eyepatch and Jack Sparrow accent, but leave the talking parrot and pesky crocodile at home.
