Focusing on his early years, “Hiroshi Hamaya: Photographs 1930-1960” captures the lifestyles and habits of the people of pre- and post-war Japan. Hamaya, one of Japan’s pre-eminent photographers, covered many aspects of life in his work, exhibited here in over 200 shots.
