Yes, you read that right: although most people don’t think of Canada when talking about wine, Canadian wines have been successful in competitions around the world. But they’re not made in large quantities and they don’t make it out of the country often, so they tend to be unknown.
Heavenly Vines, a shop in Ebisu, has been introducing wine buyers in Japan to these hard-to-find bottles for the last three years. They are hosting a special evening featuring 10 wineries from Canada for a “taste and buy” event, where you can interact with winery representatives and try more than 30 sparkling, white and red wines from 4 regions, and purchase them before they are made available to the general public.
In addition, there will be an assortment of snacks and sweets to go along with the libations. To get your ticket, contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, cellphone number, and tell us how you heard about the event.
But act quickly: the RSVP deadline for the event is November 13!
How much: ¥8,000
