Despite the country being in full bloom and enjoying (mostly) warmer weather, March has been marked as one of the most high-risk months for suicide in Japan. TELL, one of the Tokyo’s largest advocates for mental health awareness and most welcoming environments for those in need of support, is hosting their own “hanami” event to raise money for their foundation.
The charity event is open to the whole family – even pets! Come by and support the 24-hour Lifeline and staff as they work to save lives. All of the “hanami” staples will be present: tarps, music, food, and, best of all, plenty of friendly company. Stop by, alone or with your group, and take a moment to donate to TELL and those who are in need this “hanami” season.
