When: 13/08/15 - 16/08/15: All Day
Where: Tomioka Hachimangu, 1-20-3 Tomioka
This festival is held every year around mid-August, but it goes all out every three years. Although 2015 isn’t one of them (next one will be 2017), the event still offers an eyeful with the procession of portable shrines, purifying water splashed on spectators by parade participants (we can’t think of a better way to freshen up on a hot day), lively dance performances and of course, the ubiquitous food and beer stalls.
